Three Steps to Security, Comfort & Confidence

STEP 1 - THE IMPLANT

The first step involves surgically inserting the implant into the jawbone.  It will take 3 - 6 months to secure its place underneath the gum, bond with the bone, and form a strong foundation that allows for natural chewing and speech functions.

STEP 2 - THE ABUTMENT

After the implant has taken hold, its surface is uncovered and an external extension (abutment) is secured to complete the foundation for the placement of new teeth.

STEP 3 - REPLACEMENT TEETH

The last step is the placement of the new teeth.  A prosthesis is created that closely matches the size, shape and color of the patient's natural teeth,
